About Rachel Keller, LCSW-C, CST

When we talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary. - Fred Rogers

Hi there! I'm glad you decided to visit my site, and I hope the information here will help you determine if therapy at Alive Intimacy might be right for you.

Your therapist's training and credentials are an important part of understanding their background, and whether they have the right skill set to help you. As such, I will share my training and credentials with you here.

I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW-C) and an AASECT certified sex therapist (CST). I have been practicing therapy for 10 years. Prior to my career as a therapist, I was a certified public accounting (CPA) for 6 years. I absolutely love my job as a therapist, and I am dedicated to continued growth and learning to ensure I can offer you the best and most current treatment methods, tailored to your particular needs.

I have two masters degrees - Masters of Social Work and a Masters of Education in Human Sexuality, completed in 2015. I obtained these degrees at Widener University's nationally respected dual degree program for social work and sex therapy. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) as well as Relational Life Therapy (RLT) for couples, developed by author and clinician Terry Real.

I have a wide range of experience working with individuals and couples on a myriad of treatment issues, including sexuality, communication, conflict, life transitions, lack of emotional or physical intimacy, depression, anxiety, trauma, and more. I am kink, poly, and LGBTQ friendly.
