Monthly Intimacy Hour:

Sexuality Information, Discussion, and Support

What is a "healthy sex drive"? Am I normal? Why does my partner want sex more/less than me? What do I desire? Why do I struggle to find what I desire?

If any of these questions feel familiar, Intimacy Hour may be just the resource you're looking for.

Join two Experienced Sex Therapists and Licensed Clinical Social Workers for an hour of accurate, relevant information, sex & relationship advice, and Q&A.

Schedule for 2024:

Wednesday November 13th @ 5:30pm - 6:30pm ET

  • Topic: The Pressure-Avoidance Cycle
  • Sign-up Link: https://forms.gle/sSzNk2ctoXXr1VEg8
  • Sex therapists will tell you they are very familiar with this cycle. It often occurs when one partner desires sex more than the other. Without meaning to, the couple can easily end up in a dance in which the lower desire partner feels pressured and guilty, and the higher desire partner feels frustrated and rejected. The result? Both can end up avoiding the topic, driving them further apart. The good news is that in most cases, neither partner is wrong in their needs and desires. They just haven't found a way to communicate and reconcile those. Join us to talk about this common dynamic, and explore ways to overcome it.

Wednesday December 11th @ 5:30pm - 6:30pm ET
